Amritsar

This is my first trip in college after the end of the first year. Before the starting of the end term examination. All my friends are decided to go to Amritsar. So according to the plan after the ending of the examination. We take a train from Jalandhar city railway station. We all are so excited about this trip especially me because I never see Golden Temple before that. After a one and half an hour of the journey we reach to Amritsar railway station, then we take an auto from outside the railway station and then it nearly takes 10 to 15 minutes to reach our destination. Then after that, we booked a room for us in the outskirt of the golden temple. Various types of hotels are available near to Golden Temple and they are cheap and as well as expensive, so according to your budget, you can prefer. We all are from middle-class family so we are decided to book a moderate type of room which have AC and all other services that are required for stay. If you do not want to take a room then you can also take free rooms and halls provided by the Golden Temple committee. They are well cleaned and lockers are provided to keep your luggage.

After the one hour of rest, we went to Golden Temple, Harmandir Sahib is its real name, but due to its gold plated building, the devotee is called Golden Temple.

Temple is surrounded by a lake. People from all religions come here in huge numbers to offer a payer and take a dip in the lake. A long path is made in between the lake to go to Temple. We stand in a queue for a long time for Darsana. We spent the entire day at the Golden Temple. Spent hours sitting by the lake on the sparkling clean floor. We just feel the devotee in the air. Then after done with all payers. We went to Langar for lunch and seat on the floor in a line. Energetic young volunteers rush back and forth and served Dalmakhni and vegetables into each plate. The Rotis, however, is not served on your plate. Rather, you raise your hands and accept them with humility and piety. And then we start eating with the call of Jo bole so nihal… sat sri akal”. Outside the Langar, hot tea is available we all take a full cup of tea. Then collected our footwear from the area where it is stored. and take an exit from the Temple.

Then after that, we went to Jallianwala Bhag which is near to Golden Temple. Which is open at 6 AM and close at 7 PM. A lamp is burning to pay homage to the martyrs, is placed at the entrance. We see that bullet marked are still observed on the wall and the garden is well maintained.

In the end, this trip is awesome we all are enjoyed very much and explored the history of the Golden Temple, Jallianwala Bhag, and Amritsar.

Dibrugarh is the main city to connect Assam from Arunachal Pradesh through railway and roadway.

After arrived at our destination we decided to first go to Jagannath temple, which is the famous tourist place in Dibrugarh. Which is 5-6 KM from the main town. Jagannath temple is a replica of the original Shri Jagannath temple in Puri, Odhisha.

Location: Khanikar Rd, Chring Gaon, Assam 786003

The temple is beautifully crafted with red stone and typical architecture. This stone is dedicated to Lord Jagannath as the name suggests. The temple is beautifully built and it is surrounded by tea gardens. Once you enter the temple, there is a sense of calmness and there is a sense of closeness with God. So from my point of view if anyone wanted to go to Dibrugarh in the future, then it is almost compulsory to visit this beautiful place if you not do then you missed a great chance to see this awesome place.

After the Jagannath temple, we went to DTP DYKE point which is near to the bank of the Brahmaputra river.
